That’s one weird game…
Good music and graphics, gameplay is quite original. The later levels were a bit repetitive but the game isn’t long enough to get boring. The last battle looked good and different from the previous ones but it was skipped after I lost a couple of times and gave me the impression I got the bad ending. I had to look at past reviews to figure out that it doesn’t matter whether I win or lose.

The programmer had to make the message of the victory after the final battle,
but he programmed the game for very long.
So I had to ignore similar shortcomings

Thanks for the comments)

I can’t really find many flaws in this.
The graphics are definitely the highlight of this game, pixelated but still detailed and every screen looks different. There is a hint of a story but most of what's happening seems random. The music is okay, with different tracks for every area. The gameplay is simple, with a few puzzles, not exactly challenging but it is enjoyable. If I had to pick my favourite feature, it would be the giant animated creatures.

thelucre responds:

We hope to add many more giant creatures for the next build. They work so nicely with the scale of the environments. Thanks for playing!

Too long and boring for a joke game.
I just have to click and nothing new really happens. It would probably take more time to complete the game than it took you to make it.

Coxyworthy responds:

That's fair!

It looks promising, but also very glitchy.

Good story and graphics, the sound was okay too.
There is no in-game tutorial except for the training mode, which is actually just a few pages of instructions. If you are going to introduce a bunch of unconventional controls, it's better to do it through gameplay instead of forcing players to spend a couple of minutes reading just so they can understand what is going on. And even after reading the instructions I still had trouble figuring out how things work, something that may or may not be due to glitches.

In some screens, you press space to progress and enter to go back and in others you have to do the opposite. The projectiles you fire follow you left and right instead of flying straight and if you fire again, they will disappear and respawn in front of you. When an enemy is hit the screen turns white, this can get very annoying. The level codes don't seem to work or at least the first one. The first boss was fun after I got used to the controls but I gave up on the second one, it can only be damaged by missiles and the amount you get from the shop is only enough to take out about 1/4 of its health. Even then, I decided to grind a little on the first level and give it another try so I chose 'new game' and it sent me to the second level again. I also found out there is no way to abort a mission without taking a lot of damage first or just reloading the game.

It's an interesting game, but it isn't worth going through all the glitches. It is difficult, but mostly due to hard to navigate menus and generally bad execution rather than challenging levels.

Newshield responds:

I am able to answer a majority of those questions for you.
Didn't think to do an In-Game tutorial that shows you what to do because I thought the player would want to figure this out on their on.

Once I install an In-Game tutorial the Second boss will seem not so hard. Well, not that hard in general. Yeah, the Missile thingy can easily be fixed.

After hitting New Game you when back to the Second Level huh? That's not suppose to happen. That can easily be fixed as well.

Hmmmm....I guess the flashing white light can be for bosses only and I'll change the Enemies explosion to just a normal one.

Yeah, to "Abort the Mission" you have to take damage. That was thrown in to give you that "Oh crap, I have to abort" type of feeling.

Well, thanks for the actual feedback that was helpful. Now if you excuse me I have to fix theses....issues. Thanks for the review.

Is this a joke? It's not even complete. There's nothing mature about it either.
At least the controls work so it's somewhat playable.

Thevity responds:

In fact, this is a joke. I didn't want to make a good game. I was too lazy.

I don't see what makes this a parody.
The graphics are white lines, and a few dots for stars and effects. The music isn't too annoying, but not that good either. There is no story and the only purpose of the game is to 'survive' while asteroids appear from different directions, with increasing speed. The only reason to keep playing would be to try and get the medals or a better score.

CoderTomato responds:

The game is a parody of 1979 Atari Asteroids game because the UFO resembles the UFO in the old Asteroids game which I assume you have never played. The game isn't meant to have a story because It is supposed to be a quick game which is mentioned in the smaller description. I am sorry that you were unable to get the kind of game you wanted. Thank you for reviewing.

For a game called Parking Fury, I was expecting something more intense, this is actually rather slow and relaxing. The graphics are indeed very good and realistic and so are the controls. There are a few music tracks that also go well with the game. The game itself is quite linear and always tells you exactly what to do next, but I don't consider this a problem. It has no story of course and I haven't played through the entire thing since I doubt the last levels are going to be all that different. I don't think it's the best game I've seen lately, but it's good at what it does. It has everything you would expect from a simple car parking simulator.

FreeS responds:

Thank you for your feedback!

It was funny and a bit difficult. Why am I collecting jewels while avoiding a decapitated head? Sometimes I could go through the car sprites and sometimes I got stuck. I was expecting more in the end other than just an empty 'you win' screen (at least that's what I assume 'ganaste' means).

I'm working in the collision , and possibly put him a better ending , thanks for commenting !!

The intro looked very promising so when I started the first level I was in for a disappointment. It’s a simple and repetitive platformer with terrible hitboxes. The backgrounds were probably the best part of the levels, my favorites were the one on the last level and the one with the skyscrapers and my least favorite was the 2nd (water?) level. The dizzying part was just awful, might as well add a seizure warning, at least it was easy so I didn’t have to look at it. During a mid cutscene, it took me some time to figure out I had to click on the letters to proceed, since I got no instructions and the intro before had played on its own.
The music was okay, can't say I liked or disliked it. There is only one type of enemies (I have no idea what those things are) that will kill you on one hit as soon as you get close to them. It was really frustrating to go through a level and suddenly get sent back to the beginning when I could clearly see some distance between Lucario and the enemy. It makes him look like a real wimp made of glass.
I almost gave up on the final stage, it felt very slow and cheap. Then I get a cutscene saying Lucario killed the guy… except he didn’t! He was moving away just a second ago. Now, I don’t expect you to make your game as I would, but you can’t hype some guy as a final boss and then kill him off screen. This is a game and it’s supposed to be interactive. If you want Lucario to kill the dark figure then show it! And if for some reason you don’t want to, change the story so that he proves to be too strong and Lucario has to run away or something similar. Don’t make cutscenes that completely disregard gameplay.

Thanks for the feedback.

Frustrating and boring.
The graphics are very simple but nice, especially the colorful sparkles the player-dot leaves behind when moving. At least that’s what I thought until I realized the ‘clouds’ are all just random broad lines that were probably made using the brush tool. There are also parts were they appear disconnected, like one on the bottom left of the starting area. The music is okay but do I hear birds singing? In space?
The game plays a lot like a mouse avoider, except using keyboard controls. This makes it a bit clunky, for example I can accelerate to insane speeds but that will most likely get me killed. To make it worse, I have to click every time I loose, which means I have to keep the mouse pointer inside the game window (proof that it might have been intended to be a mouse avoider). Pressing space will bring up the game over message for some reason.
The ending was a bit of a lackluster, all I got was a “you win” message after moving in a light circle and aside from reading a poem (which I forgot by now and I’m not starting over to reread it) there isn’t much of a story here. Maybe you’re just trying to be “artistic”, but that won’t get you any extra points from me anyway.

Wituz responds:

Thanks for your compliment on the graphics. The background is in fact just random broad lines that were made using a brush tool, but I thought they worked quite well - But apparently some people notice it and the atmosphere is ruined. Will try to update that. You're very right about the birds tho, my thought was that the melody fitted so well, that the birds were alright. Also, the game was not meant to be a mouse avoider game. Your clever finding about spacebar. It was originally a debug feature, I simply forgot to remove it. Will be fixed in future updates. :)
I know that the ending is a bit de-motivating, but the game was intended to be about the poem (did you get the whole context?). Yes - I am trying to be artistic, and it might not be everybody who likes the style I'm trying to achieve. At least this is a step on the road.
Thanks for the review.
